Study and nutrition counselling in Hungary

Between 2012 and 2016, I studied nutrition counselling (BSc) at Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary. After successfully passing my final exams and receiving my BSc diploma as a nutritionist, I started my Master’s degree as a nutritionist in 2016. During the 2-year Master’s programme, I worked simultaneously at St. John’s Hospital in Budapest as a nutritionist. At the hospital, the cardiology and psychiatry departments have been part of my responsibilities as a nutritionist. I have treated patients mainly with overweight and obesity, diabetes mellitus, insulin resistance, hypertension, food intolerances, or eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder.

My first years in Switzerland

After successfully completing my Master’s degree at Semmelweis University as a nutritionist and after 2 years of initial experience at St. Johannes Hospital as a nutritionist, I moved from Budapest to Switzerland in 2018. When I studied English and French as foreign languages at grammar school, I studied German intensively for the first 2 years in Switzerland and passed my B2 language exam in German.

Between 2019 and 2020, I first worked in Switzerland for the company Nutriathletic AG in the field of sports nutrition. Thanks to work, I came into contact with the company Nestlé Health Science (NHS). Still in 2020, I started working for the NHS as a Medical Consultant – specialising in malnutrition, gut health and mild cognitive impairment (MCI). After a year with NHS, I got a special project from Germany with the company Bodymed (Nestlé Health Science Germany) in our team. Bodymed offers various nutritional solutions including Nutritional counselling for patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), overweight and obesity, insulin resistance, diabetes mellitus and other metabolic diseases.

Nutritional counselling at the Swiss1Surgery practice in Solothurn

Through the cooperation with Bodymed, I got to know Dr. Jörg Zehetner, Professor (USC) from the Swiss1Chrirgue practice, who was already a Bodymed partner at that time. We soon found a consensus with Prof. Zehetner regarding our goals for the treatment of our patients. At the Swiss1Surgery practice in Solothurn, we want to provide patients with the best possible therapy, whether this is nutritional advice before or after a planned operation, or conservative treatment for obesity.

My goal with nutritional counselling is to realise a high quality of life for my patients, with improvement of the disease and secondary diseases, with success and self-confidence and of course a balanced and healthy diet. I am convinced that at the Swiss1Surgery practice in Solothurn, I am an experienced contact point for patients in the region for various nutritional problems.

I look forward to meeting you in person at the practice.
